Who is Vigro Deep ?
Vigro Deep , real name Kamogelo Phetla is a amapiano DJ and Producer . A teenager who is making big waves in the South African music industry. Kamogelo is born and raised from Atteridgeville , west of pretoria.
How it all started
Vigro Deep was not passionate about dance music initially . he was more Hip hop driven. It was only when he started to produce that he fell in love with dance , specifically amapiano.
At a very young , Kamo has already conquered the streets of South Africa . He’s music is love throughout the african continent as well as international shores. The young DJ taught himself how to produce music back in 2017 and became very popular the very same year.
Releasing his Debut Project
He dropped his debut album titled Baby Boy when he was just 17 years old. The album was an instant hit and he was slowly becoming the talk of town. he decided to drop the second instalment of baby boy saga the following year titled Baby Boy 2 Reloaded.
Working with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small
In 2019 He worked with Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa on a song titled Vula Vala featuring Nokwazi. The song was featured on the first Scorpion kings album. That was when Vigro really hit a solid break into the mainstream , he started gigging nationally.
The independent DJ is currently not signed to any label, he made this decision to keep control of his sound and freedom. and he is currently working on releasing his latest offering titled Rise of a Baby Boy
