Who is Busiswa ?
Busiswa is a South African vocalist and songwriter . She was Born and raised in Norwood , Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. Her rise to fame was in 2012 when she collaborated on DJ Zinhle ‘s My name is . This became one of the biggest songs of 2012 and introduced both DJ Zinhle and Busiswa to the spotlight.
Busiswa experimented with recording her poetry on dance music around 2010 . She first recorded with house music producers Sir Bubzin and DJ Clap. They then introduced her to Kalawa Jazzme legend Oscar “Oskido” Mdlongwa.
Working With DJ Zinhle and Joining Kalawa
She was then introduced to DJ Zinhle and they made a hit single ‘My Name is ’. After the release of that single , Oskido signed her to Kalawa Jazzmee. She went on release countless hits such as Ngoku and more.
