South Africa’s hottest Hip Hop artist, Ntokozo, better known as KO, together with Halls hit the dusty streets of Soweto to bring to life his latest hit single ‘Cara Cara’. KO released a popular hit song that is currently exciting fans countrywide.
In partnership with the Halls brand, the music video was produced to launch his latest hit single and to take viewers on a journey around the streets of Diepkloof, where KO spent most of his childhood days with his friends in an old VW Microbus (‘Cara Cara’).
Throughout the music video, subtle shots of the brand are seen making sure the Halls branding remains tasteful and natural to the viewers. The partnership was a perfect one as the Halls target audience resonated with this music video and the brand was seamlessly integrated.
Shortly after the music video went live on the 25th of April, the song was placed on high rotation on all music channels on SABC and DStv. The video was also shared across the Halls social platforms. With over 85 000 views on YouTube within one week, Halls is receiving great exposure.
From a brand perspective, a social media campaign was launched where tickets were given away to two Halls fans who gained access to the VIP music video launch in Sandton. This execution also generated great content to share with our followers.
