Who is Zanda Zakuza ?

Zanda Zakuza is a South African Singer who was born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Her full name is Zanda Ntombshayivosho Zakuza. She rose to the lime light with DJ Mdix ‘s hit song Umvulo, and Later collaborated with Master KG on Skeleton Move and Prince Kaybee ‘s Club Controller.

Her Background and Education

Growing up , Zanda dreamed of becoming a dancer and never imagined that she would be a musician. The afro Soul Singer did her high school at Pinetown Girls’ High School. After completing her matric , she went to University of KwaZulu-Natal to study Jazz Music. However 2 years later she dropped out to focus on her music career.

Her Music Career

It all started in 2015 when she signed a record deal with Open Mic Productions. and released her first album titled ‘ Synthia The Journey ‘. In 2017 she was featured on DJ Mdix ‘s hit single ‘Umvulo’ which became a big song in South Africa and she started getting some recognition. The success of Umvulo led her to collaborate with Prince Kaybee on Club Controller , one of the biggest songs in 2018 . She also worked with Master KG on the single Skeleton Move. Zanda has released many hit single ever since and continues to grow her brand.
