Who is Mi Casa ?
Mi casa is a south African award-winning group / band. It consists of 3 members namely J something , Dr Duda and Mo T.
How Mi Casa was founded
Micasa was formed in 2011 after they all decided to perform together at a lounge. That performance would become the birth of the now successful internationally recognized trio.
Dr Duda is the DJ and Pianist , J Something is the trio ‘s vocalist , while Mo T plays the trumpet . They are one of the best performers , with their live soulful horns, vocals and keys.
Micasa has hosted countless successful shows in different African countries , All shows were sold out shows . They’ve also hosted shows internationally in places such as Portugal, UK, Netherlands, Italy, and Canada

- Sold out concerts around the world in Portugal , Canada , London , Rome and other places
- Micasa performed at Barack Obama ‘s Inauguration
- Nominated for MTV EMA for Best African Act & Best Group in 2016
- 3 x Nominations at the MTV Africa Music Awards for : Artist of the year , Best Group and Song of the year.
- Had a single in No.1 in the U.K on BBC Radio 1Extra
- Number 1 most played song in Africa for 13 weeks for the single ‘Jika’
- Collaborated with Grammy award winning artists Lady Smith Black Mambazo
