Who is Aymos ?

Aymos is a Tembisa born and bred musician , real name ‘ Amos Babili Shili ’. He is famously known for his hit songs ‘Zaka’ and ‘Emcimbini’.

How it all started ?

Aymos started getting traction on the streets after he released ‘Ongowami’. After that he worked on an afro pop song titled ‘Zaka’. Zaka was later remixed by Mas Musiq into an amapiano hit , which became big nationally and that’s where his music career really kicked off. The collaboration between Mas Music and Aymos continued with hits such as Uvalo , Bathethelele and South Africa ‘s favourite ‘Emcimbini’. Emcimbini was included in DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small ‘s Scorpion Kings album and became a national hit.

Aymos released a collaborative EP with Mas Musiq titled ‘Shona Malanga’ and is currently working on his own solo project.
