Who is K.O?
K.O , real name Ntokozo Mdluli was born in Soweto, Johannesburg , is a hip hop act. He is popularly known a member of the award winning hip hop group ‘Teargas’.
Where it all started
Ntokozo was influenced by a lot of hip hop greats at a young age and began to pursue a career in rap music. He later formed the group Teargas with brothers Ma-E and Ntukza . Teargas became of the biggest groups in S.A and are still regarded the best to ever do it . They made a lot of timeless classical albums as teargas. a few years later , K.O decided to go solo and started releasing his own projects.
Starting his Solo Career
K.O. began to collaborate individually with legendary artists such as AKA and L-Tido. In 2013 he formed the well known entertainment and lifestyle company “Cashtime Life”. through the label, he released his smash hit “Caracara” which changed the sound of South African hip-hop. Caracara was so big and its music video became the first South African rap video to hit one million views on youtube.
