New Music | AKA And Diamond Platnumz Drop Their Collaboration ‘Make Me Sing’ Music Video

Tanzania meets South Africa in this big new collaboration from Diamond Platnumz and AKA.
“Make Me Sing” follows the two superstars as they woo and serenade girls over a Tudd Tomas-produced steel drum beat. Diamond Platnumz delivers some romantic croons, while AKA raps about his ‘queen’ and drops a “Chop My Money” reference.
The Johannesburg-shot music video, directed by Nicky, sees the pair robbing a bank and subsequently spending all of the cash on girls and a mansion house party—things don’t end well for them though.

Emtee ‘s Pearl Thusi Music Video

Emtee is crushing on Pearl Thusi so hard, he even wrote a song about it.

By now you have probably heard Emtee’s latest single, and how it is pretty much just one long love letter to our beloved TV and radio personality, Pearl Thusi.

But did you know that the song, which is named after Pearl, already has it’s own music video?

The video is the story of every young boys life. You know, those days when you with your mates and you can’t stop talking about your crush! Except our crush is normally the next door neighbour, and not one of the country’s biggest celebs.

Anyways, Pearl is featured in the video quite a lot. In fact, we bet you can’t guess how many times “mama Panther”, Pearl Thusi, makes an appearance!

DJ Sbu puts production of Mofaya on hold

DJ Sbu Leope has temporarily suspended production of his energy drink after the South African Bureau of Standards found it was not officially approved and carried its stamp illegally.

Leope has said that his company which produces an energy drink will suspend production until it has made amends to fully comply with SABS and it’s strict requirements.

SABS released a statement last week, saying that Mofaya carried its stamp of approval illegally since it had not been approved by it.

“The product must pass various SABS protocols and this involves factory inspections, laboratory tests and SABS Accreditation Approvals Board sign off. Only after these rigorous processes have been completed and passed, can the SABS mark of approval be affixed to the product,” said Frank Makamo of SABS.

Leope explained that the company which manufactures the energy drink was SABS approved and this automatically filtered down to his product.

“We are currently in communication co-orperating with the authorities behind the scenes working very hard to rectify the current error. The SABS and NRCS are there to make sure companies adhere to their strict standards of protecting the South African public at large.”
