Indlovukazi Bookings

Indlovukazi

Singer and songwriter Indlovukazi is the voice behind some of the biggest house songs right now , including the likes of Gugulethu and My Dali.

Her real name is Princess Nompumelelo Nkuna . She was born and bred in Nkomazi Esibayeni in Mpumalanga. She started going to church at a young age where she sang in the choir and enjoyed it. she also enjoyed listening to jazz, which her father played a lot at home. they would attend jazz festivals together, which became their special thing. Her family found it odd that she loved the genre at such a young age. Though she enjoyed singing for people, she never considered doing it full time.

Her new single L.O.V.E. is a love song. It’s inspired by the joy of finding love. I want those who are searching to believe that one day, they’ll find the love that they’re looking for. It’s written in Xitsonga, Siswati and English. I am glad that people have responded positively to it.

She is planning to release her first album next year. But, she will be releasing another single later this year. ” I’m grateful for the collaborations I did with Prince Kaybee, Heavy K and TNS as they opened doors for me and made me a better musician. I am looking forward to more collaborations. “

MALUSI “BEAST” NDLOVU

Malusi Ndlovu better known to music fans as BEAST, was born in KwaMashu and later relocated to Pinetown. He is a hip hop fanatic and lover, with one conversation with him you can sense the intense passion he has for his music and for Hip Hop. It wasn’t always hip hop though, growing up in a township where Kwaito and House music were the order of the day it wasn’t an easy transition into Hip Hop without being ridicule and called a ‘punk’.
He started rapping despite all this and would often be at every party doing his thing with a small group of friends in some dingy corner. Life took an unexpected turn for him when everyone acknowledged his undeniable talent and started getting asked to perform at the parties he would frequent.
This lead him to working with DM MEDIAand being one of the most highly anticipated artists from Durban, with collaborations from every key rapper in the game, his offering Global Warming was destined for dizzying heights.
His single “Leopard Skin” has stamped his presence in the scene by getting in excess of 3000 plays/downloads in just one (1) day of its release and is now over 8000 and became a local anthem in the streets not only because it was a good song but also because of the creative story line of the song that encapsulates everyone in the game and was voted 2012 hiphop song of the year on Gagasi99.5 fm and became the first song to get played twice on its debut on 5FM due to public demand. By this it is an ode to all his predecessors.
Beast is a charismatic and energetic performer, one of the main reasons he gets a lot of appreciation. Outside of his performances he is a lot quieter, humble which means he refuses to follow the ordinary trend and become just another assembly line rapper with an ego of mammoth proportions.
Beast released his debut mixtape titled “Global Warming” on 02 June 2012 and became the highest selling mixtape in KZN in 2012and madeBEASTone of the most overbooked rapper in the province,
With back to back performances, from clubs to government gigs from June 2012 till September 2013,The only rapper to perform at the provincial ANC Centenary celebration due to his versatility in his music which caters for young and old, from club to Kasi (township).

On the 8th of September 2012 saw Durban hosting the 4th annual Original Material Awards (KZN Hip-hop Awards) at the Durban Playhouse, with Beast being nominated in 4 categories, he took home all 4 awards, which are; Best New Comer 2012 | Best Mixtape2012 | Best Video 2012 and his production team Select Play Music(made up of Lastee & Tellaman) took home the Best Producer2012 awardand the highly contested Single of the year 2012,which had Zakwe and Abdus on the same category and the hip-hop community voted Beast.

Lastee also won the Redbull BTTC 2013 Producer Battle and Beast is currently in studio recording his debut album which is due for release in 2014 and features some of the biggest names in S.A. Music, like Metro FM Award winner and gold selling Zakwe to name a few and one of the first singles features SAMA 13 Record of the Year and African Gospel Artist of the Year 2013,Winner Sifiso Ncwane and produced by Select Play Music and SifisoNcwane.

The album also features the remake “UngawaKum” by kwaito legend, Thebe, which led to a great professional relationship between KalawaJazmee Records and DM Media, that has seen Beast share the stage with most KalawaJazmee Records artist on their shows/events in and around S.A.
Beast has also headlined shows like, Durban Summer festival 2012 & 2013, SABC 1 MonateFontein 2014 and Durban Beach Festival amongst others.
