Samkelo Lelethu Mdolomba also known as Samthing Soweto is a musician from Soweto, a township in Johannesburg South Africa. Samthing Soweto started his career as one of the founding members of the South African acappella group The Soil

Samthing Soweto’s first EP titled Eb’suku vocalized his journey through the art of making simple music sound anew.”…When I was six I remember finding, everything I heard super exciting…,” a line from the “Mdolomba” track in the EP defining his musical journey. The rare and distinct sounds wrap a serene mood differentiating the authenticity in each song. 

The lyrical content fuses a combination of well-controlled voice playing, mixed with verses that enhance the calm intended feeling which completes the project. The EP invites listeners to travel the journey of words, brought to life through the sounds and vocals of Samthing Soweto.

Sun El Musician

Sun-El Musician , whose real name is Sanele Tresure Sithole is a young music producer and DJ, who fell in love with music at a very tender age. Sun-El is a self-taught music producer whose journey in music began in 2007 when he learnt music production in his self-made bedroom studio

In 2010 , Sun-El ‘s music production talent was recognized and he was afforded the opportunity to produce 4 tracks for Songbird BUCIE , which included ‘Get over it- Remix’,‘Indukenhle’ ,‘Mid-night’ and ‘Hard to get’ which were all feature in Bucie ‘s 3rd studio album ‘ Princess of House’.

He then later worked with Demor from the group ‘Shana’, He produced numerous tracks on Demor‘s debut Solo album.

One of the songs he worked on the Album includes the banging track (Under-Pressure) which was rated number 1 in 2013 on YFM’s -hot9nine and on 5fm – Fresh andEuphonik‘s dance show.
The young Deejay/Producer has up to date released two singles , one with his colleagues/band Sticks & Stones SA and his debut single as a solo artist “WASTED feat: Demor”

In 2014 he worked with Bucie on her award winning album ‘Princess of House – Easy ToLove’, where he produced the hit song ‘Shela’
DJ Sun-El is also currently DJ to one of the most talented house music
vocalist in South Africa ‘Bucie Nqwiliso’, having working with her on a number of songs and producing hit singles her it was only fitting that he gets the honor.

He was recently featured on Demor‘s latest single ‘Cliché’, which is currently enjoy good airplay on radio. DJ Sun El is also in studio working on Bucie‘s New Album as well as his own music that’s set to drop later in 2016.

In 2017 he released his single akanamali ft Samthin Soweto that went on to become one of the biggest songs in the country , also won his 3 SAMA Awards , In 2018 he dropped his album Africa to the world . An amazing album that has been on number 1 on music charts for sometime now .

Durban-based gqom band Distruction Boyz , real names Thobani Mgobhozi (21) and Zipho Mthembu (21) from KwaMashu, north of Durban,

Pearl Modiadie is the host of Zaziwa, the biggest talk show in South Africa! Born and bred in the city of lights Johannesburg, Thando had an insatiable desire to see her dreams become a reality, which saw her career begin at the tender age of 13. The realization that entertainment was her calling saw her star in various theatre productions before landing her first TV gig at the age of 14. This was merely the beginning of a revolution in the entertainment industry.

Thando discovered her love for radio at UJFM while at University of Johannesburg studying towards her Bcom ACCOUNTING degree, when asked she says, “Radio found me”. Thando found herself gradually making her mark on the airwaves. In 2010 she was head hunted by the YFM programs manager to join the biggest youth radio station in South Africa. Her Charisma and ability to connect with young people on a level many struggle to, saw her soaring from hosting a graveyard show to a primetime show in a matter of 6 months. Thando has since left YFM and joined 5FM in May 2014 where she will form part of the new afternoon drive show with Roger Goode giving us our daily dose of traffic, as well as hosting her own show “Beats By Demand” on Sundays between 10:00 & 14:00.

Thando Thabethe got her chance to MOVE from just theatre productions to on screen in 2010 when she landed the role of” Thando Nkosi” on the hit Sitcom “My Perfect Family” The show is currently ranked the 6th most viewed show and the 2nd most viewed comedy in SA with a viewership of over 3 000 000. Koketso Mophuting is a television actress on one of South Africa’s hit television shows, which has led to her becoming a household name. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the African Film and Drama Academy. There, she worked on honing her craft in preparation for a career on and off screen. She has since been active in the entertainment industry as an actress and content producer.

This has seen her produce music videos for some of Africa’s most renowned artists. Such include Kcee, Burner Boy, D’banj just to name a few. Her career began on the Mzansi Magic miniseries ‘Single Mothers’ in 2013. She portrayed the long-lost daughter of a woman trying to find herself. In the process of finding herself she finds her long lost daughter. Upon the completion of ‘Single Mothers’ , Koketso spent more than a year working behind-the-scenes in music video production. It was an incredible time for her, growing and understanding the Television/film business better. But soon she found herself back on screen.

This time it was on the popular series-turned soapie, ‘Isibaya’. She has been on the show for more than a year and is thoroughly enjoying her time there. Some may remember her from the hilarious ABSA ‘gold value bundle’ television commercial in which she is receiving poor service in the form of a less-than-satisfactory massage, from an alternative bank. Aside from television work, Koketso is a voice artist. She is also passionate about reading and is well spoken.Her passion for uplifting others and making a difference, particularly the youth, has led to her appointment as a board member for the anti Tobacco, Alcohol and Gambling Group (TAG); an NPO that aims to change policies pertaining to these three vices.
